Which plan do I need?
Compare the tiers by what they unlock.
Before you start
- You choose a plan when you activate an experience, so you can build your whole draft first and decide later.
- For current prices, see the pricing page. This article compares plans by capability, not by cost.

What each plan unlocks
Basic — free
Basic is free and covers everything you need to run one experience: up to 10 steps, a photo on every step, and a live view of your player's progress as they go. What it doesn't include is alerts — you won't get a text or email when your player connects or finishes a step. You can build and run one active experience at a time on Basic.
Elevated — one-off, per experience
Elevated is everything in Basic, plus text and email alerts. When your player connects and as they complete steps, you get notified — handy when you're not watching the dashboard. It's a one-time charge for that single experience, so you pay for the day rather than a monthly bill. Like Basic, it's one active experience at a time.
Subscription — monthly
Subscription is for people running several experiences. It includes everything in Elevated, and adds:
- Up to 3 active experiences at the same time (instead of 1).
- Memory archive — listed as a Subscription feature on the pricing page.
It's billed monthly, so it makes sense if you plan more than a couple of experiences a year.
A few rules worth knowing
- Steps cap at 10 on every plan. No plan lets you go past 10 steps in a single experience.
- On the free side, you can build up to 5 steps before you activate. To use all 10 steps, activate the experience first.
- You can keep up to 5 drafts at once. Drafts are unactivated experiences-in-progress; this limit is the same on every plan.
- Alerts are a paid feature. Text and email notifications come with Elevated and Subscription, not Basic.
Tips
- Planning a single occasion? Basic or Elevated is usually all you need — pick Elevated if you want to be alerted as it unfolds.
- Planning several throughout the year? Subscription lets you run three at once and works out simpler than buying each one separately.
- You don't have to decide up front. Build your draft, then choose a plan at the moment you activate.
If something goes wrong
- “You must purchase an experience before you can create more drafts.” → On the free plan you can keep one unpaid draft at a time. Activate your current draft, then start another.
- “You can only have 1 active basic experience at a time.” → Basic and Elevated allow one active experience each. Finish or remove the current one, or move up to Subscription to run three at once.
- “You can only have 3 subscription experiences active at a time” → That's the Subscription limit. Let one finish before activating a fourth.
