Creator - The individual that is creating the experience and steps for another individual
Player - The individual that is going through the experience.
Connect - The ability for the player to gain access to the experience created by the creator. In order to connect the Player will have to sign up and input the code in order to connect to the experience.
Experience - a set of up to 10 steps directing the player what to do, where to go, and when. Create actions such as requiring a code, waiting for the next step to be unlocked, or the player responsing in order to complete the step and progress through the experience.
Step - a single set of instructions; can have description, location, completion action, hint, and an image designed for the individual.
Creator
The creator is the individual that is creating the experience for another individual to play (player)! They are the ones that are able to monitor the progress the of the player throughout their adventure.
Create an Experience
Sign In / Sign Up
Click the 'Sign In' button in the nav or click here to sign in. If this is your first time logging in you can will need to sign up by either clicking the 'Sign Up' toggle or clicking this link and entering your name, email, and password or using one of the 3rd party applications.
*You may be wondering why we ask for your name. When a player connects to an experience we display their name as a way to verify they know if the player is connected to the experience.
After submitting your credentials you will need to verify your email.
Go to Creator Mode
On the top navigation click on 'Mode' then 'Creator' or click on this link and you will be brought to the creator view. If you have not signed in / signed up you will be directed.
Create the Experience
On the top of the page you will notice the ability to create an Experience by adding the name / title of the expereince along with a photo. The photo and name will be used for the player to be able to select the expereince and view the steps.
*After uploading a photo you will be prompted to crop the photo with 1:1 aspect ratio
After clicking the button to create the Experience you will be directed to that Expereince's page, from there you can create the steps
Edit Experience
On the creator mode page click the 'Edit' button. This will allow the name and image to be editted
Delete Experience
If you no longer want the experience and want to start over click the 'Delete' button.
Purchase Experience
Once you are at the point were you would like to purchase your experience click on the 'Purchase' button. From there you will be prompted to select the type of experience you would like to purchase. Once purchased you can activate the experience and connect the player:
Basic - Allows an experience with up to 10 steps to be activated and the ability to monitor the player's progress
Extended - Allows an experience with up to 10 steps to be activated, the ability to monitor the player's progress, and be alerted when the player completes each step.
Subscription - Allows up to 3 experiences with 10 step to be activated at a time, the ability to monitor the player's progress, and be alerted when the player completes each step
*If Elevated or Subscription is selected you will default to get email alerts when the player completes each step. You can switch to SMS by going to Mode --> Profile adding your phone number, verifying your number, and selecting the alert method of 'Text'
After purchasing you will be redirected to the Creator Mode where you can activate the experience and send it to your player!
Activate the Experience
In the Creator Mode once the experience has been created and if there is at least 1 step created you can activate the experience. The activation will create a short code that the player will need to use in order to connect to the experience
To activate select the length of time you would like the activation code to be live
***The Activation code is what is sent to the player in order to connect***
If you are on mobile we try to help create a predefined message that will open your SMS app and can be sent to your player
Once connected you have the option for whatever reason to remove the player from the experience
Create a QR Code for an Experience
After activating the Experience click the link 'Download QR Code'.
Create a Step
Go to Single Experience Page
On the Creator Mode page click on the experience you would like to add a step
You will be directed to the Experience's page where you can add / edit any steps
On top of the page you will be able to add a name, description, add a hint, upload an image (to help identify what you would like them to accomplish), a completion action, and a location
The image will do the same as the Experience image when uploaded however this time the aspect ratio will be 2:3 (width : height)
The completion action 'No Action' is the default, this allows the player to complete the step without needing to take an action
The completion action 'Enter Response' requires the player to input some text (ex. You create a step to ask a question in the middle of the experience)
The completion action 'Enter Time' the player will not be able to view the step until after the entered time.
*Keep the above in mind, ex. if you had a dinner reservation that is an hour away make sure that is accounted for when you are specifying the time.
If additional timezones are needed please contact us. You can use the following timezone table as a reference.
The completion action 'Enter Code' requires the player to input a code in order to complete the step (ex. You hide a code in an envelope under a specific park bench that they need to find or a cypher based on a mural)
The location is to help the player know where the step takes place, ex. a Park, Restraurant, historical site, place you had your first date (if applicable), etc.
The location can be either an address or latitude / longitude. If 'Get My Location' is checked and permissions granted we will try to find your current coordinates
The location will be displayed as a link for the user to open their naviagtion app suchs as Google Maps
Repeat up to 10 steps when purchased, 5 during your test account
Edit a Step
On the creator mode page click the 'Edit' button. This will remove all other steps from the view and add all the values to the top to be editted
The steps can be reordered by either drag and drop each step on desktop or press and hold on the step and swap with another
Once the reordered steps are in the desired order click 'Submit New Step Order' on the the top
*** Note you will not be able to edit an active step or create a new step once the player is at their last step.
Connect to the Experience
Someone just sent you a link or a code to connect to an experience they created for you! Get ready for a personalized adventure designed just for you!
Either click on the link sent to you or go to the Connect page
If you have not logged in already you will first be asked to before you can proceed.
After logging if you are not automatically logged in from clicking the link go to the Connect page, input the code, and click 'Connect Experience'
Player
The player is the individual that connects and completes the experience! If that is you have an amazing, memorable experience!

Go to your connected Experience
Complete the Steps and Have Fun
The step should have all the necessary details in order to complete it.
Each step will have an action, indicated by the blue badge, which will define how you can progress to the next step;
No Action Required means you can complete the step at any point in time
Response Required means you can complete the step at any point in time
Code Required means you can complete the step at any point in time
Time Required means you will not be able to view the step until past the specified time
Profile
Edit Name
From Mode --> 'Profile' or by clicking this link you can edit your Name and click 'Update Profile' to save the change
Alert Method
If you have a subscription or purchased an Elevated experience you are able to receive either SMS notifications (standard rates apply) or email. Email will be the defaulted notification.
Verify Phone Number
If you would like to receive SMS notifications add your phone number along with changing the alert method to 'Text'
Once updated you will receive a 6 digit code from the phone number you input. Click on 'Verify Phone Number' and input the code, the code is only live for 5 minutes.
Update Password
If you need to update your password add your current and new password.
If you can't remember your password click on the link below and follow the prompts to update your password.
3rd Party Connections
If you would like to use a 3rd party provider for logging in, check which ones are connected, or remove a current connection. Click the button and you will be prompted to do any of those things..
Update Subscription
Click the 'Update Subscription' button and you will be redirected to update your subscription
